WHY ARE THEY NEVER PUNISHED FOR GROSS MISCONDUCT?

Why Do They Escape Accountability for Serious Wrongdoings?

Greed, in its most unadulterated form, often masquerades as respectability and hides behind the protective shield of state office. Unfortunately, some members of the current UK Conservative government seem to prioritize personal enrichment far above qualities like integrity, honor, and honesty, which should be at the forefront of their responsibilities as public servants.

To those who entrusted them with their votes and their trust, it must be disheartening to witness the continuous disregard for their welfare. Empty words such as “Lessons have been learned” are offered as a mere salve when these government officials are caught red-handed, engaging in questionable dealings with foreign companies. These actions directly conflict with their duty to represent and address the concerns of their constituents.

In a recent exposé by the transparency advocacy group “LED BY DONKEYS,” Members of Parliament and Government Ministers Kwasi Kwateng and Matt Hancock were found to be offering access to lawmakers for a substantial fee, reportedly charging £10,000 per day for this privilege. Such behavior, which exploits their positions and offices, would be considered unacceptable in most other countries and might label a nation as a banana republic.

Sadly, it seems that the normalization of such actions and attitudes has infiltrated British politics, becoming an accepted part of the culture. In this scenario, one must question who the true “donkeys” are – those in power who perpetuate such corruption, or the citizens who allow it to persist at the hands of individuals who have repeatedly demonstrated self-serving deceit and corruption. In simpler terms, they are not only liars but also corrupt individuals.

Greed in its purest form wrapped in a cloak of respectability that comes with a steel shield of an office of state, while acting like street corner spivs. Ministers in the curent UK Conservative government have continually demonstrated that integrity, honour, honesty figure way down on their list of priorities in favour of self enrichment at the expense of those who put them in office to govern.

We in their eyes are fools to placate with words like “Lessons have been learnt” after being caught red handed selling their powers of office to foreign companies while not answering the queries, trials and tribulation of the constituents they are meant to represent.

A recent sting by transparence activist group “LED BY DONKEYS” caught out MP’s and Goverment Ministers Kwasi Kwateng and Matt Hancock selling access to legislators for a fee, reportedly £10,000 a day for the priviledge of access, a services their position and office affords them the opportunity to provide.

Any other country would be deemed a banana republic for such open corruption to be accepted. It appears that the normalization of such actions and attitudes in british  politics has now been accepted and embedded in the culture. Who in this case are the donkeys, them or us for allowing it to happen continuously by people who events, recent and past have been proven to be self serving disceminators of mistruths. In other words, Liars and curropt ones to boot.
