Only on first hand observation of the creative and making process, can one truly appreciate the tenacious efforts and milestones that need conquering to achieve the final product the world sees.

We all know to a degree, how a Video or  Film is made due to the insights we have been given in the multitude of available behind the scenes documentaries of the process. Depending on the desired goal, be it a quick capture and edit with a mobile phone, a mid range production with DSLR cameras or a full blown big budget investment, certain dynamics will have a marked effect on the process, delivery and end result.

Two of the three points listed above are pretty much self explanatory. The first production is a dip in the pocket and retrieve your phone to create and edit with a multitude of available free apps, while the big budget and well financed production of studios are commercial entities, well established with a foothold and boundless financing.

The Fringe Dwelling Cohort in the middle are the really interesting ones. The production is expected to be of a high standard but the means to make it materialise are vanishingly limited to do so for want of finance and the videography skills required.

Training Camera handlers, Producers and Editors need subjects to showcase their skills. Results for this cohort to attain showreels of their skills in tandem with other talented creatives is achieved by the collaboration of the individual skills all needing a  springboard, collaborative subject and script to justify and showcase their creative abilities.
