Hatred As Policy In The UK Conservative Party

RISE OF THE NEW FASCISTS

Without personal firsthand experience, it is challenging to grasp the summary dismantling of a thousand years of history in pursuit of self-enrichment, all at the expense of a population of 60 million people. Such a scenario might seem incomprehensible and, to those with morals and compassion, almost unbelievable. These few vocal dissenters find themselves susceptible to ridicule from the prejudiced and uninformed.

However, this distressing reality has unfolded in the United Kingdom, courtesy of its current government, the Conservative Party. The nation’s rich historical tapestry has been unraveled for the sole purpose of self-aggrandizement, that is disheartening to witness. What makes matters worse is the party’s apparent embrace of fascist rhetoric as a means to cling to power, furthering their self-enrichment agenda. They operate behind the scenes, using think tanks located on Tufton Street, with their Oligarch backers and financiers shrouded in secrecy, leaving the public in the dark.

History has demostrated to us the pattern of direction of, seeding the  rhetoric of division and hatred of the other, usually the that innocent , helpless and dispossessed that germinates eventually into the main topic of the mainstream media and afforded a legitimacy  the bad actors intended for the sole purpose of aquiring or retaining Power in public office.

Below are the words of — Martin Niemöller, The quotation expresses Niemöller’s belief that Germans had been complicit through their silence in the Nazi imprisonment, persecution, and murder of millions of people. He felt this was especially true of the leaders of the Protestant churches, which were made up of Lutheran, Reformed, and United traditions.

“First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist.

Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.

—Martin Niemöller
